Facilities at News International
Here at News International we have an extensive range of facilities and services. Some of these may be limited to employees located at our main London site, but many are available at any of our sites.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is available from the visiting acupuncture practitioner (Wapping only).
Bike Doctor
Regular visits by a bicycle mechanic keeps employees’ bicycles in good working order.
Café
There are two cafés on site in Wapping selling hot drinks and a variety of snacks and sandwiches. Similar facilities are available at other News International locations.
Dry Cleaners
There is a pick-up and and delivery dry-cleaning laundry service for Wapping employees.
Gym and Classes
A modern, equipped gymnasium is located on-site at Wapping. In the adjoining studio a variety of classes are offered through the week, including spinning, circuit training, yoga, Pilates, body conditioning and aerobics.
Other locations in the UK have access to subsided local gym memberships.
Kairos Massage
Kairos Massage is available at the Wapping site from the visiting massage therapist.
Homeopathy
Homeopathic remedies are available to employees by appointment with the visiting homeopathic practitioner.
Minibus Service
There is a minibus service between Tower Hill station and the Wapping site.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is available to employees at the Wapping site by appointment.
Reflexologist
A Reflexology therapist visits regularly, providing treatments.
Restaurant
A staff restaurant is located at Wapping, providing a variety of hot and cold meals, drinks and snacks.
Sports Massage
Sports massage is available from the visiting massage therapist at the Wapping site.
